Keshia Chante’s new album is set to be released in the first quarter of 2011, and she is planning to release it as a two CD set. It also has a brand new album title. Read on…
It’s official, KC’s 3rd Album will now be titled, “Night & Day” as apposed to the recent title, “The Vendetta”. Her new album will be the product of a two-disk produced effort, “Night” being one side of the project with 6 uptempo club records, the other being “Day” with 6 midtempo R&B tracks. Keshia’s label will be releasing two singles at once, ‘Table Dancer’ being the single from ‘Night’, ‘Test Drive’ being the single from ‘Day’. Source.
New song ‘Test Drive’ is set to recieve a late September release, so fans should be able to hear the song in full before the end of the month. Actually, I find it weird that she has shot the music video but the whole song has yet to leak. What is up with that? Thanks to Luv-KChante for the news scoop.

LISTEN: Keshia Chante’s ‘Dead to Me’ leaks in DEMO form…
The demo ‘Dead To Me’ from Canadian R&B songstress Keshia Chante leaked this week and is officially confirmed to feature on her upcoming new album ‘The Vendetta’. Keshia’s biggest fansite Luv-KChantè confirm to us that these ARE in deed Keshia’s vocals on the demo. However, the song is not in its mastered form. Take a listen to it below:
The 22-year-old who once dated Drake, co-wrote the song with JC Smith and Roz Bell. Smith likens the song’s production as an interesting combination between Madonna’s ‘Frozen’ and One Republic/Timbaland’s ‘Apologize’. I love the song, and it’s just a rough cut. KC is coming hard!

REPORT: Keshia Chante preps NEW SINGLE ‘Test Drive’…
Canadian R&B singer Keshia Chante has lined up ‘Test Drive’ as the official lead single from her upcoming new album ‘The Vendetta’. The singer pictured at her 22nd birthday bash last month (see inset photo) was once reported to play Aaliyah, and will release her new LP later this year on Interscope/Universal (Canada). She even hinted that the direction of her album may expand beyond her usual contemporary R&B and pop: “In Studio writing with George (Nozuka)” she writes “Very talented – dances, writes, sings raw, plays piano. We made a great neo-soul song!” Source.
Over the weekend, she confirmed that she was preparing and brainstorming her upcoming album photoshoot, as well as the upcoming music video. The song was mixed and finalised last week. The first single was set to be ‘Hang My Jersey Up’ but she has now opted to release ‘Test Drive’ instead.

Canadian R&B singer Keshia Chante is releasing her third studio album ‘The Vendetta’ this year, and here are some new promos. The 21-year-old has participated in the majority of the songwriting on the project, including a track titled ‘Dead To Me’, which she co-wrote with producers JC & Roz. Her new single from the project is called ‘Hang My Jersey Up’ which is produced by VicPark and it will go for adds this spring.

Previous reports state that she worked closely with Aaliyah’s family to portray the late R&B singer in an upcoming biopic rumoured to drop in 2011. So far, Keshia has not been given the green light to speak on it yet, but she will do when she’s allowed to. As for the music aspect, Keyshia had a nice debut album. I actually purchased it on import back in 2005. Even today, her biggest hit ‘Bad Boy’ is still my jam. Thanks to Luv KC for the info and pics.
