The camera went to black and white when Justin Timberlake performed at last night’s Grammy Awards. The Pop prince was introduced by Beyonce for his much-anticipated Grammy comeback. We were treated to a very charming performance of his new hit single ‘Suit & Tie’, and Jay-Z even got out of his seat to spit some bars. JT’s band The Tennessee Kids also used the moment to debut ‘Pusher Lover Girl’, a Motown-esque number off his upcoming album ‘The 20/20 Experience’. Get into the groove below!

When Justin Timberlake makes his musical comeback next week, Justin Bieber will be studying his EVERY move. The 18-year-old pop pin-up has already copped it for swaggerjacking JT on his lead single ‘Boyfriend’ last year and after hearing JT’s new music, he reassures his 32 million-plus Twitter followers that they “have a good reason to be ready”.
It’s funny that JT’s musical styling was replicated several times last year (including JLS and their ‘Hottest Girl In The World’). Because while all that was happening, he was holed up in a recording studio with Timbaland planning to shut the game down. Whether he does that on Monday, is something we can’t wait for. Two more nights people. Two more nights…

Unbelievable! Oprah Winfrey compares Justin Bieber to Michael Jackson and The Beatles during an upcoming episode of ‘Oprah’s Next Chapter.’
In a bizarre attempt to draw ratings for her OWN network, Oprah states that Bieber is unlike any other pop star in history. She believes he could be even bigger than the aforementioned legends prior to his massive following on social media. After the interview, Oprah says it’s “the biggest thing I have done since Michael Jackson in 1993.”
The former chat show host sat down with the multiplatinum star in Chicago for an in-depth interview, revealing what sets the 18-year-old apart from legends like MJ, as well as Elvis Presley. Watch a preview below.

Last night’s American Music Awards saw Usher and his protege Justin Bieber deliver choreography-heavy performances, while Christina Aguilera brought some empowerment to the stage.
Usher was given the honour of opening up the show, with green laser lights beaming onstage. Rocking out in all black (with the exception of his red shoes), he delivered a high-octane medley of hit songs. Those included ‘Numb’, ‘Climax’ and ‘Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop’, off his seventh studio album, ‘Looking 4 Myself.’
The R&B crooner later accepted the award for Favorite Soul/R&B Male Artist beating out both Chris Brown and Trey Songz.
So okay I lied. The only massive hit he had this era was ‘Scream’, so his song selection was pretty random but it was a great performance nonetheless. He never lip-syncs but how about NOT attempting to run on stage while singing live and trying to pull off those massive notes? It just didn’t work. It was like listening to a starved howling wolf crying out for some meat.
Meanwhile, his protege Bieber gave a stripped down, acoustic performance of ‘As Long As You Love Me’, before transitioning to the dance-heavy ‘Beauty and a Beat.’ Rapper Nicki Minaj joined him onstage, and briefly grinded with the pop pin-up.
Bieber finally hit puberty, with that deep voice. He hasn’t quite mastered how to use it just yet (his next album will be interesting and will his new voice be embraced?). Also, his vocals were pitchy and all over the place. However, the 18-year-old had a lot to dance about. He won big last night picking up favourite pop/rock album for his platinum-selling third album, ‘Believe’, as well as snagging the Artist of the year award.
Aguilera used last night’s gig to promote her new album ‘Lotus.’ The curvy diva performed in a cleavage-baring star-spangled bodysuit, fishnet tights and leather boots as she screamed out the album title track as well as ‘Army of Me’ and ‘Let There Be Love’:
“Ha.”
Dancers had bags over their heads with derogatory words that read ‘pig’, ‘freak’ and ‘loser’, targeting those that have criticized her in the past and continue to do so. The most interesting part? A fat dancer jigging around and doing the splits. The worst? Her backup singer totally out-sang her and it was terrible.
Sadly, Aggy hasn’t been good since the early 2000s and that’s real. She’s also put on more weight so she should really consider dressing to suit her size. And why have we not received a PROPER live performance for ‘Your Body’ yet? I just don’t get it.

A few days ago, Justin Bieber announced that his laptop was stolen at a show in Tacoma, Washington. He was being blackmailed by a certain twitter user, and because JB failed to give in to the blackmailer’s demands, the threat of personal footage was leaked. Turns out that said footage was nothing more than the music video for his Nicki Minaj-assisted new single ‘Beauty & A Beat’. The entire thing was a publicity stunt concocted by Bieber and his PR team.
The visual, filmed at a waterpark is practically one big pool party with scantily-clad women dancing on stripper poles. That is soooo Minaj’s territory but Bieber? Not so much. It seems they are slowly easing the 18-year-old towards a more mature audience.
So, all of that publicity was for THIS? Not impressed. The visual has a home-made look to it, something they were likely going for to tie it all in with the hoax. Bieber’s latest album ‘Believe’ has sold over 900k units to date and should pass the million mark before the end of the year. Officially, it has been certified platinum by the RIAA.

Rihanna, Bruno Mars, & Justin Bieber to perform at Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

Some of the biggest names in pop music are set to perform at the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Those names have been unveiled as Rihanna, Bruno Mars, and Justin Bieber. It will serve as great promo for two of the acts gearing up to release new albums this fall. Rihanna is set to sing her new single ‘Diamonds’, while Mars is slated to perform his newly debuted single ‘Locked Out Of Heaven’. It has yet to be announced what Bieber’s number will be, but most likely, it would be a cut from his chart topping album ‘Believe’. Sounds like one of those hottest tickets in town.
That is, if the show were to replace Justin for Usher and I’d say we’d have a very stellar line-up on our hands. The event is slated to air 10pm at CBS on December 4th.

An unsuspecting Justin Bieber drank some dodgy milk before his performance last night. Apparently, he puked his guts up on stage while performing ‘Out of Town Girl’ in Phoenix, Arizona. Ew. The gig was the first show of his Stateside ‘Believe’ tour. Plus, it was also very telling that his vocals could still be heard while he puked. After the performance, the 18-year-old tweeted that he was getting better for the next show and that “milk was a bad choice!”
Cue to the very end of the performance, where the singer takes time out from his routine to bless the stage with his vomit:
Why didn’t he do a Rihanna and run off the stage? Puking in front of your fans like that? Hmmm… Now he knows how some of us feel when watching HIS performances these days. A bit on the queasy side. Still, it’s nothing that a bit of hot lemon and honey can’t sort out. Get well soon, chuck.

Justin Bieber took to the ‘Dancing With The Stars’ stage last night to perform his hit single, ‘As Long As You Love Me’. The pop sensation did his little two-step to the Darkchild-produced cut. Wearing skinny leather pants with the saggy crotch, the 18-year-old lip-synched to some of the words unconvincingly. Justin Bieber rocks the stage last night, performing ‘As Long As You Love Me’ on ‘America’s Got Talent’ season finale. The track serves as the second single from Bieber’s near-platinum selling album ‘Believe’. For the performance, Bieber brings out rapper Big Sean, as well as plenty of dancers, a bit of energy and so-so vocals. Practically, if you’ve seen one performance, you’ve seen them all.

The track peaks at #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. Bieber delivers his usual choreography-laced routine, much to the delight of his screaming female fans. As long as they love him in deed and continue to remain impressed by his servings of mediocrity, that’s all that matters right? After all, they’re the ones lining those big fat pockets.

Justin Bieber wants to perform at this years MTV VMAs but he has revealed on twitter that MTV won’t let him because he’s already performed at the Teen Choice Awards. Shortly after making that admission, he deleted his tweet.
He wrote, for those that missed it: “I would perform at the VMAs but MTV said I can’t because I did the Teen Choice Awards. All good. All love. But I’m down. Always ready”. I’ve always heard about this rule for years that if you perform on a certain award show, you can’t perform at the VMAs. Of course his beliebers are spitting blood over it, but at least they have One Direction to fawn over.

At the hands of his girlfriend’s disapproving father, Justin Bieber takes a beating, all for the name of love. The Anthony Mandler-directed visual comes complete with non-linear story telling, cinematic gloss and standard choreography, all in the format of a mini movie. An enjoyable visual for what it’s worth despite the concept being rehashed into the ground. The compulsory dance segment was not really needed as the concept itself would have stood on its own.
The Big Sean-assisted ‘As Long As You Love Me’ is lifted from the 18-year-old’s latest album ‘Believe’, which to date has sold 649k units in the States. The track has so far peaked at #15 on the Billboard Hot 100. Check out the glossy visual for ‘As Long As You Love Me’ below.

Justin Bieber delivers a futuristic mash-up of ‘Boyfriend’ and the Big Sean-assisted ‘As Long as You Love Me’ at last night’s 2012 Teen Choice Awards. But it was the latter single (his latest) that received the most airtime on a day that marked girlfriend Selena Gomez‘s 20th birthday.
Justin’s background dancers looked like they’d walked right off the set of Star Trek, while they popped and locked around the stage. A dazzling spectacle of crazy lights bombarded the set with a breathless Biebs showcasing his overly rehearsed dance moves. He tried to swag it up in a metro urban style outfit made from aluminum foil. But at the end of the day, when you take away all the stage theatrics and pyrotechnics, Biebs really is just your average pop star. Justin Bieber, who just turned 18, is clearly trying to mark his foray into legal sex symbol territory. Proving that he is definitely growing up, Bieber dares to be “hot and legal” on the latest cover of Rolling Stone. Unfortunately, he looks 12 trying to emulate 18. The issue also marks his second time gracing the cover of the highly-esteemed music editorial. Bieber also took to the stage to perform his second single, ‘As Long As You Love Me’ on ‘Australia’s Got Talent’ this week. A video for the track was filmed in Los Angeles recently. Justin Bieber took to the stage last night at the 2012 MTV World Stage in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Bieber entertained his 15,000-strong crowd with an array of pop hits from his previous albums, including songs from his recently released album ‘Believe’. Biebs was not short of any high decibel screams from his female admirers. The entire concert will broadcast on MTV Asia on July 28th, followed by a worldwide broadcast on all MTV networks later this year.

Justin Bieber rolled around on a segway rocking his favourite gold sneakers, nerd glasses, bandana and a beanie while shooting his latest music video for the dubstep-heavy ‘As Long As You Love Me’. The clip will include cameos from Big Sean, Usher and Will.i.am, and serves as the latest single from his recently released new album ‘Believe’. The video features a romantic kissing scene and was being shot in downtown Los Angeles, CA. So far, ‘As Long As You Love Me’ has peaked at #21 on the Billboard Hot 100. So much for that overly inflated, big fat 500k prediction! The third studio album by Justin Bieber debuts at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 373,456 copies sold according to estimates from Hits Daily Double. ‘Believe’ marks Bieber’s third consecutive #1 studio album in the US. Of course these numbers are subject to change by a lower or higher ratio once the official Soundscan numbers are released. However, the differences are usually not that huge.
There was so much hype surrounding this album. Therefore, these numbers did not match the hype at all (still not low enough to be deemed a flop however). Biebz only just managed to outsell Madonna‘s ‘M.D.N.A.’ but not by much (Madonna sold 359k). I expected so much more, and judging by the one million sales prediction promoted by his fans, his Beliebers did too. Having 24 million twitter followers doesn’t mean jack if many of them won’t come out to support your cause.

Cheryl Cole‘s hopes for a hat trick of consecutive chart-topping albums was destroyed last night. Canadian heart throb Justin Bieber scored his first official UK #1 album with ‘Believe’, holding back Cheryl’s ‘A Million Lights’ to #2. Justin only beat Cheryl by a measly 3,000 copies so clearly his Beliebers reside solely in the States. For album sales are said to have been relatively low. The numbers are still unclear but Cheryl pushed 9,000 copies in one day last week, so rough estimates stand at approximately 40k-50k making it her lowest selling album to date.
This is very underwhelming especially following the high sales of her lead single ‘Call My Name’ last week. Her sophomore album ‘Messy Little Raindrops’ enjoyed respectable opening numbers of 105k, while her solo debut ’3 Words’ opened with 125k. It’s not all doom and gloom though. Cheryl sold more in one day than her former X Factor protege Alexandra Burke did in two weeks so the outcome could have been a whole lot worse.

You’ve probably seen a lifetime of ‘Boyfriend’ performances from pop pin-up Justin Bieber. That is simply why I didn’t watch this one either. But skip to the interview because this one is probably one of the funniest things you will see all week. If you were wondering whether Biebs is still a child or not, watch the confused little thing in conversation with king of late night David Letterman. The 18-year-old reveals he is not contemplating college “because I’ve got a lot of albums to do”. Letterman goes: “You go to college and its chicks ahoy”. Oh my, how I howled. Um David, I don’t know if you’ve realised this yet, but everywhere Justin goes is CHICKS AHOY. This world famous superstar business clearly has its perks ya know. Watch the hilarity unfold below.

Loyal hormonal girl fans eh? The power is simply in their hands. Beliebers certainly came out in droves to buy Justin Bieber‘s new album this week. For it will have the largest first week sales of 2012. His new album ‘Believe’ is set to sell 400k-500k copies, entering the Billboard 200 at #1 next week. Madonna‘s ‘M.D.N.A.’ had the largest opening sales this year with 359K and Bieber’s new album will certainly top that. It’s very unfortunate that his mentor Usher (who once sold a million copies in his first week in 2004) could not pull in these type of numbers this week, but this is how the music industry works. The longer that artist has been in the industry, the more likely it is that they will encounter a career decline at some point. Whether Biebs can still pull in those same numbers once he’s 10 years into his career is something that remains to be seen.
