Yesterday (Dec 10th), Keri Hilson continued to raise her overseas profile some more when she performed her latest single ‘I Like’ on the TV Show ‘Popstars: You & I’ final. The single is lifted from the soundtrack of German movie ‘Zweiohrküken’. The performance took place at the Koenigspilsener Arenain Oberhausen in Germany:
The wig is killing me, but I’m happy we see her perform this for the first time. The tribute to Michael and Janet Jackson’s ‘Scream’ at the end was mad random! On that same show, Leona Lewis performed ‘Happy’ and Rihanna performed ‘Russian Roulette’. If you want to watch, peep here and here. As for moi, I’m going to have to give these performances a miss.

that shit was WACK! this performance was lacking. she was barely dancing, and her vocals should have been on point, but they really werent. the tribute was random and also laughable. she did nothing towards the Scream routine.

…yea, the dancing break was a bit random to me. and IMO, if you’re going to do a Janet-esque dance break, u need to dance and well at that. We all don’t have to be dancers, just sing and do your normal butch-like swag. Leave the dancing to Ciara…
But other than that, it was decent
No disrespect Toya but Rihanna’s performance on Pop Stars was her best vocal showing yet for the song Russian Roulette. And Congrats Riri on Russian Roulette being the number 2 song on the European Billboard Charts. International Star Indeed…F*** the haters
I didnt hear the audio cuz I’m at work but the vid looked cool and yall can’t expect her to do THAT much in shoes THAT tall…it could have been a lil better though…GO KERI!!! I LOVE YOU GIRL!!!
couldn’t even watch the whole clip.. Her dance partner looked like he could be her dad.. to me she is not that great… some people should just stay behind the scenes..(just my opinion)
Her vocals were a little off and I’m sorry she is not the best dancer, but at least she tries. Her confidence is high, but her skill level just isn’t as high as her ego.

Keri “reject Ciara” Hilson should’ve NOT done that mini tribute to “Scream”. she sucks for that. I actually like that “I like” song but i can’t get into her because she’s so cocky… for absolutley NO reason. she’s not the best singer, not the best dance, average looking, doesn’t have a good fashion sense, etc so why is she so cocky?
You know I really like Keri. There is just something about her. “I Like” is a smart move for her and she is expanding her fanbase with it in the process.
I like how she sings on tracks…she uses her voice effectively and no denying her writing skills. She has a bright future. She makes very nice music and she is likeable.
Get it Keri. Though…I still want Mya to come back and shut you all down.
As a matter of fact Keri was pretty much unknown until she was on POPSTARS twice.
