WATCH: Alesha Dixon EXCLUSIVELY performs ‘Drummer Boy’ at Party In The Park…

Last week, UK songstress Alesha Dixon took to the stage at ‘Party in the Park’ in Leeds, where she performed her new single ‘Drummer Boy’ for the very first time. I did say that if a HQ video props up, I’ll post. Well, as promised, here is the *professionally shot* performance:

Good grief! My ears! From head to toe, Alesha is physically a hot woman. No one can deny that. When So Solid Crew’s Harvey cheated on her, I thought he was the biggest loser. Whilst he has faded away from the spotlight, Alesha continues to enjoy her musical success.
.
So again, I repeat, everything about Alesha is hot up until – CAR SQUID!!! – you hear her sing (something she wasn’t doing much of anyway, except filling the stadium with throaty yells). And then you want to cry. It’s bad enough that I’m severely struggling to get into the song, no matter how many times I hear it. But towards midway to the end, I think my drums must have ruptured when she got to the “aaaarhhhh aaaarrrhhh” parts.
.
However, I commend her for going out of her way to perform her butt off and delivering a high-energy show for her audience. This is how it always should be.

That wasn’t that bad and hasn’t she proved she can sing already? She does have her Rihanna like moments but overall her vocals are not completely unattractive… She is fine though, I agree there. The song has grown on me tonnes but I keep hearing in the back of my mind “Pick up your stick, gimme that d*ck” LMAO. Then I go alrighty Alesha!

I meant I keep imagining her say “Pick up your stick, hit me with ya d*ck”! This is a dangerous song lol…

  3.

The beginning wasn’t that bad but as she progressed further into the middle and end, it was just, horribly bad.

  4. Toya, u really have no business criticizing voices lol

    no business @ all

  5. DEAD@u hoz tryna shade rihanna..

    this chick is rapper …

and will not in a million years SEE rihannas relevance, beauty and talent. but keep it up.

  6. I’ve watched cause I love to see terrible performances, but this wasn’t that bad… :/

  7. Alesha’s performance was amazing :) I love Alesha and I totally agree with you she is one beautiful woman. Alesha can sing and I love ‘Drummer Boy’ :) X

  8. (no offence) ur smoking dust! this was HOT! lol

  9. This was enjoyable…she was a little hoarse sounding but I think she was performing before and was just a bit winded to the end…maybe she should’ve performed the new track first.

I liked it though…she always seems to want to bring the energy!

  10. This is such a bad single choice. It screams old Gwen Stefani and seems to be missing a something.

  11. I never said the performance was bad lol. If you read the post again, you will see I APPLAUDED the performance but criticised the vocals. I’ve heard her do WAAAAY better.

But you didn’t state that you have heard her do better…

ie… “o again, I repeat, everything about Alesha is hot up until – CAR SQUID!!! – you hear her sing (something she wasn’t doing much of anyway, except filling the stadium with throaty yells).”

I think you were trying to be specific to this performance. However it doesn’t completely come off that way.

  13. For her FIRST performance of this song to such a MASSIVE crowd. She did very well.

She does not need to prove she can sing, she has proved that too many times before and always sings live, which is a rarity with a lot of artists! You would have only needed to see her tour last year to be convinced that this girl has one powerful voice and belt it out better than most, especially whilst dancing!

I honestly think she had strained her voice that day, combined with nerves and the energetic dance routine!

Much love for the Dixon x
