Report: Rihanna extends her World Tour Down Under!
Superstar Rihanna is extending her widely successful ‘Last Girl on Earth’ tour to 2011, when she brings her spectacular risque live show to Australia in February.
Australian fans are warned that her show has
“strong themes of sex and violence, including semi-nudity and war imagery”. However, promoter
Michael Coppel said the tour, which sold out in Europe and did respectively well in the US, pushes the envelope. The show is said to include sexy costumes, dirty dancing, massive props, booming pyro and sci-fi screens. The gig also involves a segment where the 22-year-old provocatively straddles a giant pink tank. The
‘Umbrella’ songstress will perform at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on February 25th. Tickets go on sale on August 20th.

Rihanna is slaying on this tour. Everybody wants a piece of Queen Riri and her Aussie fans are set to get their wish. Very few may question her singing abilities, but a chick works hard for her bread, and to be honest, I can’t see how anyone can fault her for that.

And funny that you applaud this show for utilizing a live band instead of a backing track, in addition to pretending to play the guitar, she also feigned playing the drums. I highly doubt Rihanna will ever learn how to actually play a guitar or any instrument for that matter, if she were that concerned about being a “true musician”, she would’ve gotten some singing lessons, and maybe try her hand at writing her own songs instead of relying on a team of songwriters to do it for her, as well as not disgracing herself onstage by faking playing an instrument. Not to mention that she is the most boring live performer I have ever had the displeasure of seeing. She is the exact opposite of James Brown, the LEAST hard-working woman in show business. Never have I seen a performer as lazy as she is. Musical virtuosity requires talent, and bucketloads of it, something Rihanna is sorely missing.

I only know this because of an article I read that came out a week ago saying how she’s racked up so many airline miles due to her 78-city world tour. Beyonce’s tour did include 110 cities though.
