Former Danity Kane singer Dawn Richard is said to be releasing her solo debut album, which is entitled ‘A Tell-Tale Heart’. Supposedly. Just don’t quote me on it. That is what *some* sites are reporting. And even if true, I’m not too sure about this one. I don’t think she has the ’star’ quality to go it alone. Danity Kane is like an Antique clock. All the parts can NOT function on their own…

i adore her, but i doubt this is for a solo project. she has about a good 2 albums worth of songs online that havent been used for anything other than demo’s.
Dawn is so stupid. She will fail and I definitely ain’t checking for her tranny azz. She is the reason why the group fell apart, shady chick. She will do WHATEVER clearly to try and get a record deal…fool thinking Diddy will release that album or promote her.
Any group that rises together, falls together. like her or hate her, its common knowledge and sense that Dawn wasnt the main or primary reason DK got dropped. 2 members got fired and 1 refused to be a trio. case closed.

The only artist i could really see surviving with a solo career was Aubrey O’Day from the group but she ruined her image with all those fake-ass typical skanky hollywood look. If she didn’t change she could had made it.

I love Danity Kane!! And yes I’m waiting for them to get back together, but as long as diddy is in control danity Kane or even dawns solo project for that matter won’t work out, we all know how diddy cheats people out of their hard work, but all things aside I’m the kind of fan that will be buying any of the albums that these girls put out. I honestly think Dawn is truly star quality! She has a noice unique voice, and she is a tru dancer. She use to dance for the hornets so she is def a trained tru dancer. Only thing i questioned is her being under Diddy. Everything Diddy touches dies before it can actually charge.
Yet Diddys lame albums always seem to do better than the other albums due to fact he never put in any wrk to promote or anything besides his album.
As far as still blaming dawn for the group split up… We have no clue what really happened… there is always more sides to the story. So until we know the FULL story lets not point fingers at Dawn… I honestly think she was the realist out the group… N.O.
@ LB, sorry but the manager contributes to managing their team. Dawn did do solo stuff on the side because Diddy did not just pop out Last Train to Paris out of his ass, he developed a concept and dawn is ironically part of that concept? Why because he say out of all of those girls dawn is safe, she does not have SOLO star quality as Aubrey did which is whom Diddy created the group AROUND! I loved Aubrey I think she fell off though, even during the break up she could have rectified her image rather than act like Pamela Anderson and Jenna Jameson, the playboy to A-list stars fell off over a decade ago. It does not work can anyone name a recent famous playboy star? NO. So thats her mistake but she can go away and come back together, Danity Kane. Dawn looks disgusting and not cute at all for star quality, she look like a macy gray, and her voice isn’t unique enough to carry songs. She’s forgetable completely. Diddy is just using her for her vision which is why her solo comes after his becuz once its done he can dump her. She is the reason why and the truth will come out, she was quick to try and “defend” her image and did MANY interviews to gain sympathy from the dim folk who remain her fans today, anyone with non-rose colored glasses could see that She contributed to the downfall which is why Aundrea left and Shannon, who’d want to be in a group with Dawn. Aundrea’s first solo song are better that all of dawns. I use to LOVE dawn but she is addicted to auto-tune and her music isn’t even that good. Best of luck to her though she’ll need it with diddy’s ass

Dawn became the leader of Dk. I remember seeing them live with some other ppl on BB and Dawn basically blew all the rest of Dk away.
