Chris Brown flew into Jamaica earlier today, as he is a headlining act for their ‘Reggae Sumfest’ concert in Montego Bay. Whilst out there, he started reminiscing about the good times before things went awry:

The last time Breezy was in Sunny Jamaica, he was with Rihanna and he practically had the world eating from the palm of his hand. The ex-couple enjoyed a romantic weekend in Jamaica two years ago. Back then, the 21-year-old had his popularity, spitting out the hit records and was dating a beautiful popstar girlfriend to boot. How things have changed in a short time span of two years.

Note: Reggae Sumfest is a six-day music festival which started from July 18th and ends on July 24th.

I agree with what Katherine states that Chris and Rihanna did not have an opportunity for closure in their relationship. Sometimes this can make grieving the loss of a relationship more difficult. Because of the DV incident Chris has had to face many losses i.e relationship, self respect, freedom to travel,fans ,$$$etc. Lots has change in the past year. I just want to see him to continue to learn from all this remain humble and keep moving forward. Can’t change the past only can deal with today. Rihanna also has had to deal with a very traumatic experience and appears to be moving on. I must say I liked them as a couple and am sad it turned out the way it did. I liked the way Rihanna appeared and carried herself better when she was with Chris but I have not walked in her shoes and do not know how I would change if I was assulted by someone I loved. I wish them both the best!

It’s true that when you don’t get closure the relationship will hunt you until you do. I don’t agree that Ri is moving on as easily as everyone thinks! IDC what happened to her, she is still a woman and we don’t get over things this easy. Plus, all this “I’m so Hard and I’m a f’in lady” has only convinced me that Ri needs to talk to someone about this! I believe that they both need the chance to talk to each other again. Not to get back together but to close loose ends! This will help her and him really move on. They are both so young and has so much to gain in the future! Iwas not a fan of either when this first started but the way the world treated a “child” (CB) really got to me. Woman beater? THis insults the women who get their butt kicked and almost killed on a daily. My opinion is that this was a fight between the two and CB’s strentgh over powered hers and she was embarrassed. He should’ve walked away but he didn’t and he has to live with that thought forever! Why does everyone go crazy or think its so bad when he says he misses her? I am sure she misses him too even if she is “supposely” dating somoeone else. They were in love…Sorry in real life love doesn’t fade that fast or easily..>Just my experience! @ Deb she really did carry herself differently when she was with CB. I watched some of their tour shows, and you could tell she was geuinely happy and none of the smiles were not fake! Too bad, but everything happens for a reason. I truly believe that the next woman he falls in love with is going to be treated like a Queen. I hope she doesn’t break his heart! Cuz he had it bad for RI RI.
