Lady Gaga took her UK ‘Monster Ball’ concert to my city Birmingham last night (May 28th). It is there that she made the sudden announcement about her upcoming ‘Alejandro’ music video dropping in “three days” time (Monday, May 31st).

I doubt very much that we’ll be seeing the video in three days time. There has been no official word whatsoever. Just chalk it down as Gaga being caught up in the moment. I would not even be surprised if she kept us waiting a couple more weeks. They made us wait until the cows came home for that damn ‘Telephone’ video and it wasn’t even all that. I could’ve kicked Gaga’s skinny butt for that one! I mean chick was hyping up her own video like no tomorrow!

Now don’t get me wrong. I love Gaga’s creativity and her innovation to tell a story in spectacular fashion. However, as an artist who is still relately new to the scene, she needs to learn not to toot her own horn so soon. I look forward to seeing the video.

i love how obsessed everyone is with Lady GaGa, i mean it seems like just yesterday when no one even knew who she was, but yeah alejandro, not my favorite song outta her Fame Monster album, but i mean after hearing like a million times on my ipod ive come to appreciate the fact that GaGa took Mexico into consideration lol i mean we have had French, Swedish, and German, and finally alittle Spanish lol “en su bolsillo” i was like wow! i love it, but umm yeah for her fourth single i hope they choose Monster over Dance in the Dark, just cuz it seems more dramatic! lol and if Ladt GaGa has so many haters then obviously shes doin something right! :]
How many people do you know have been told they will never make it? That they are not talented? That they will never be famous? That they are unattractive and then find out that with some pure determination, talent and belief in themselves that they are beautiful, talented, have definately “made it”, are famous and gracious to boot. I am a 49 year old Grandmother and I think she is showing the youth of today that it is ok to go against the flow and find comfort in your own skin. Gaga is not wholly responsible for those delays! The Haus/directorial team sets a release date, but delays are often made to ensure that it’s perfect. She once said at one of her shows, “I would rather it be perfect than release it and it’s bad and you all crucify me”. She was joking of course, but the idea is nonetheless the same: if it’s not exactly the way she wants it, she won’t put it out. Have a little patience and a little faith, and Gaga will once again deliver an amazing music video! Oh, and Telephone was a mini-event as far as I’m concerned. What other artist puts that much time and effort into the visual presentation of their songs?? All the videos put out by other artists are mediocre in comparison, which is why Gaga has over 1 billion views on YouTube and the most-watched video of all time (Bad Romance). Anyway, I’m so excited for Alejandro! It’s nothing like what I expected! And to all the hateful people commenting, you’re feeding her success so here’s a big thanks and a big fuck you, all at once!

The Haus of GaGa has released some information about the video…GaGa is set to play three separate characters in relationships with three men. It has been stated that there will be a burial scene, as well as a resurrection scene. So, be on the lookout for that today…
