Christina Aguilera disses Lady Gaga…again!

When you’ve been away for four years to consummate your marriage with a family, one would think an artist of Christina Aguilera‘s calibre would come back with some sort of dignity at least. But no. After the heavy barrage of comparisons to Lady Gaga, rather than congratulate her younger peer for her global success, Christina stays throwing out the catty remarks.
In the latest issue of OUT magazine, Christina dished out another insult towards the ‘Bad Romance’ singer. When the subject of Gaga was raised yet again, the 29-year-old replied with a chuckle “Oh the newcomer?” before adding: “I think she is really fun to look at”. The sharp tongued Pop starlet is no stranger to criticising her peers. Both Britney and Beyonce have been victims of her cattiness in years past. It really says a lot that she stays attacking her rivals (who ALL refuse to stoop her level) when they continue to be much more successful in comparison. Shame on you Christina.

If I had been one of the best in the business, gone away for a while then come back to be accused of copying every person known to man I’d be pretty pissed off too. People are judging Christina’s album from the 4 songs they’ve heard out of 23! Nobody is original in the music industry, Gaga included. I’ve had enough of the endless comparisons between her and every other artist. I really enjoy Lady Gaga’s music, but I don’t think there’s any real longevity to it. What is she going to do when musical tastes shift again? Ask me in a few years time.
