R&B veteran Monica was in LA over the weekend, shooting the music video for her new single ‘Everything To Me’. The video is being directed by both Chris Robinson and Benny Boom. Monica even came up with the video concept and as a result, we should be ‘shocked’ at the outcome.
After releasing their worldwide mega hit ‘Dilemma’, Kelly Rowland and Nelly touched down in a Miami studio to record ‘Gone’. Nelly says they’re not trying to top their first duet but sees it as a sequel: “We know we can’t in no way, shape or form outdo part one. There’s no way. You’re in a lose situation if you go in trying to do that. What the new song is doing is a continuation of the story” he says.

The biggest names in R&B music put on their most elegant of dresses and sharpest tuxedos to attend the biggest pre-Grammy party of all – the one hosted by Clive Davis.

The bash was a ‘Salute To Icons Honoring Doug Morris‘ which was held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on January 30th in Beverly Hills. In the correct row order, Rihanna, Keri Hilson, Ciara, Mya, Mary J. Blige, Toni Braxton, Fergie, Jennifer Hudson and Usher were in attendance.

Beyonce and Lady Gaga were spotted on the video set of Gaga’s Darkchild-produced new single ‘Telephone’. It appears the earlier video descriptions were spot on as they were seen filming in a desert, actor/model Tyrese plays the leading man, and there will be a female prison shower scene.

The pair also shot scenes in a desert road side diner on the outskirts of LA. The pics also show them inside a truck named the ‘Pussy Wagon’, the same one used by Uma Thurman in the movie ‘Kill Bill’. Apparently, it is owned by Quentin Tarintino who loaned it to them especially for the shoot.

Gaga was also spotted rocking a two-piece American outfit with the ever popular futuristic CL boots as worn by Christina and Kelis. Allegedly, the Jonas Åkerlund-directed video, which is said to be a continuation of Gaga’s ‘Paparazzi’ video, is set to premiere on February 10th! Roll on! source. source.

Brandy and Ray-J have such a cute brotherly and sisterly bond that you can’t help but admire it. What’s good is that they are also business associates and are working together on a number of projects. The pair were spotted last night lapping it up and having some fun outside the House of Blues in Los Angeles, before they made their way into the nightclub.

The cornrows are back! Ciara took a trip down ‘Fantasy’ lane when she hit up Tricky Stewart’s pre-Grammy bash last night at Wonderland in LA. As you may already know, Ciara is up for ‘Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals’ (‘Love, Sex, Magic’ ft. Justin Timberlake). Christina Aguilera also hit up that same party, whilst Rihanna was elsewhere enjoying another pre-Grammy event (see after the cut).

Here is a sneak peak look at Rihanna‘s appearance on talk show host the Ellen Degeneres show. She talks about STILL being single despite her many intimate moments with Matt Kemp as well as her tattoos and more. A new theatrical trailer has just been released for Janet Jackson‘s new movie ‘Why Did I Get Married Too’. This is some intense stuff, and I know Janet’s emotions were tripled since she was on the movie set at the time of finding out her superstar brother had passed away (and continued filming two weeks later, according to her co-star Malika Yoba). Come April, I’ll be watching!

Beyoncé: Behind the scenes of ‘Vizio’ commercial…

A few weeks ago, we reported how Beyoncé snagged up yet another multi-million dollar endorsement deal with LCD HDTV company Vizio. Apparently, the 28-year-old superstar was spotted behind the scenes filming her Vizio commercial, which is being directed by Oscar-nominated cinematographer Wally Pfister. The commercial is scheduled to air during the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl on February 7th. Check it!
