Leona Lewis‘s ‘I See You’ from ‘Avatar’ has been nominated for a Golden Globe! Despite her new album ‘Echo’ suffering from the sophomore jinx, at least she finally has something really exciting to celebrate. I See You has been nominated in the Best Original Song/Motion Picture category.


You’d never have guessed in just three years that Leona would have a song nominated at a massive award ceremony like the Golden Globes, especially for a major motion picture. It’s crazy, but she sang the hell out of that song and did her idol Celine Dion very proud. Massive congrats!

    the thing is, she didn’t suffer sophomore slump… her album creatively is great. the sales however, aren’t.

    I’m sorry but please get your facts right, LEONA IS NOT nominated, The song is nominated and if it wins, the golden globe will not go to leona but to James Horner, Simon Franglen and Kuk Harrell
    The only part Leona has is that she will be performing the song at the Oscars if it gets nominated.

    Her album is only going through a slump here in the US, but she released it on a huge selling day.

    In the UK, where she’s from, it’s doing very good. It’s already 2x platinum.

    Leona would actually be able to accept the award since she had apart of it. And she’ll also be allowed to perform it, which in itself is amazing promo for her.
