Those CL boots are absolute fire and I’m loving the new cut and coat. But why is she looking so damn miserable? As rapper 50 Cent would say, “it’s yer birfday!”. Anyway, it’s been a looong while since we had an Xtina update and I just wanted to write one. Xtina is said to have completed recording her new album ‘Light & Darkness’, which will drop in 2010. She has worked with M.I.A, Tricky Stewart and Santigold on the project.
She’s mad because Lady Gaga stole her place in the music business – pushed her out the damn door. I mean there is only room for one funky looking white bitch on the scene…

The diff between lady n xtina is that xtina is actualy very prety. Watch 2010 be the year of xtina. I dont think she will ever deliver an album that wil top stripped due to the fact that there wer a few tracks for every1 on that album. Her new album will criticaly prob be her best, but every1 has that 1 stand out album and i feel stripped wil be hers forever.
I loved her hair back in the Dirrty era, specifically the The Voice Within video where it was all messy and black. Or even the blonde with black streaks. This cut doesn’t fit her at all.
We should focus on the music though, I’m excited for the new album so roll it out!

I’m not really anticipating her at all and I consider myself a big fan of hers. I loved Stripped and Back 2 Basics (disc 1) but everything new that was on her Greatest Hits cd sucked ass. And she said that was an indicator of the new direction with this album. I’m hoping she surprises me with a really good song, but I’m not holding my breath. I don’t like this dance direction she’s taking. Its a waste of a great voice.

But you out yo damn mind if you think Christina was trying to copy Lady Gaga. I love me some Gaga, but this is Christina-Mutherfucking-Aguilera. Give credit where credit is due. Xtina ain’t gotta copy nobody. And she was doing blonde before Lady Gaga is even a thought. Not to mention that, Vocally, Christina can blow every bitch in the game out of the water (except for maybe Leona, but Xtina’s got more soul to her voice than Leona…not to mention Xtina isn’t boring as hell like Leona and knows how to get the club pumped). I love Gaga, but I ride or die for my bitch Xtina!
As for her new album, I’m excited for a new Christina album period. With Christina you know the vocals are going to be on point, you know there’s going to be AT LEAST one club joint, you know there’s going to be AT LEAST one ballad that everyone on American Idol is going to try (and fail) to sing. Christina albums are always a safe bet.
But I don’t think people give Christina the credit for the risks she takes on her albums. Stripped was a HUGE risk being so Hip-Hop oriented, and Back to Basics broke ground with it’s retro sound. Xtina takes risks, and based on who she’s working with on this album, this is set to be her riskiest album yet. Working with Santigold? Goldfrapp??? Christina is THAT BITCH! You KNOW this album is gonna be hot.
